In particular, topics such as the time value of money, cash flow analysis, risk-free and risk fixed investment planning, cost of capital, capital structure, bankruptcy models and financial decision-making are examined with the aim of maximizing the value of the company, to analyze dividend policy decisions and investment decisions, as well as the ways of financing these investments.\r\n\r\nUpon successful completion of the course students will be able to:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Know the function and expected purpose of financial management and the concept of risk.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Know how to synthesize and analyze investment decisions, as they are shaped by new financial practices.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Understand the characteristics and differences of businesses according to their capital structure and situation.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Analyze and interpret the results of the capital structure of companies.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Apply new financing methods and practices and the interpretation of the results they can bring to a business.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Evaluate investments under conditions of uncertainty by applying the discount rate adjustment to risk.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Apply capital asset valuation models.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Study the capital structure of businesses and the factors that influence it.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Evaluate dividend policy
